Information Collection and Use
The Projektträger im Deutschen Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt (PT-DLR, Project Management Agency – part of the German Aerospace Center) is the owner of the information submitted to this website.
PT-DLR collects information when users register to edit articles. When creating an account you are required to give certain information including your personal contact information (such as name, organisation, address, phone number).
PT-DLR will utilize your personal contact information in a manner reasonably required to operate this website.
Data processing on this websiteData are collected and exchanged every time a website is visited. The PT-DLR automatically collects and stores data that your browser transfers to our server. This includes:
- your internet browser type/version
- the operating system being used
- the loaded web page
- the previously visited page (referrer URL)
- time of the server request.
The PT-DLR analyzes this data solely for statistical purposes in order to measure the demand for PT-DLR web offerings. The PT-DLR is not able to trace this data back to specific individuals. These data are not merged with other data sources. IP-Numbers are only used for data transmission and are not stored after a session has been finished. Data that were logged during access to the PT-DLR 's web offering are only transferred to third parties in so far as we are obliged to do so by law or under a court order. Data will also be transferred in the case of attacks on the PT-DLR internet infrastructure that are subject to legal or criminal prosecution. Data will not be transferred for any other reason.
The PT-DLR uses so-called session cookies. Session cookies are small information units that a provider stores in the active memory of the visiting user's computer. A cookie also contains information as to its origin and the period of time it is to reside on a computer.
Other providers use permanent cookies to recognize visitors returning after a longer period of time. This type of information is stored as a text file on the hard drive of the user's computer. In contrast to this, the session cookies used by the PT-DLR are deleted as soon as you end a session.
PT-DLR may disclose personal information when required by law or under a court order or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary in order to conform to the edicts of the law or comply with a legal process served on us. Data will also be transferred in the case of attacks on the PT-DLR internet infrastructure that are subject to legal or criminal prosecution.

The PT-DLR's internet editor staff can provide you with information on the stored data. You can address any questions or grievances you may have to the DLR's Data Protection Commissioner (Datenschutz@dlr.de).Your contact information will be deleted if you inform the PT-DLR accordingly.
